I have been trying to work up enough courage to give this a try. I am not really a person who has lots of original, creative thoughts, or activities in my life that anyone else would want to read about. I defenitely don't have anything profound to say! I guess the purpose of this blog is really just for me to learn how to do it, & to keep a few thoughts about what's going on in our family.
I'm not really sure where to begin... Let's see. I'm married to Kevin West. We will have our 27th anniversary in April. Wow, that sounds like a long time! I think I might be struggling with that a bit right now. NOT the being married to Kevin for that long part, that's been wonderful! My struggle is trying to find where I belong in life. We have 5 children 25 year old son, to a 5 year old daughter. We have friends who have grown kids, & then we have friends who have very young families. Where do I fit in? It's kind of a unique situation we are in. Keeping a blog is definitely something my younger friends and family members do-so, this is my younger side keeping up here :) ha. I just decided that I should adopt the theme song & attitude that I have " The Best of Both Worlds". :)
Life has been wonderful for me. I have been so blessed to be able to be a stay-at-home mom for the past 25 years. That is really what I always wanted to do! I have loved being here with my children, watching them grow and develop, teaching them and being available when they needed me. It has been fun to help out at their schools, & to get to know their teachers and some of their friends and classmates. It's the best and most rewarding job I could ever ask for!! I LOVE BEING A MOM!! :)
I guess that's it for my first post. I'm off to be the Mom chauffeur picking up Ryan from soccer tryouts.
