Snap (or should I say SNIP) Decision?

Last month when I went to get my hair cut I looked through magazines and was debating about what I wanted to have done. Patti (my hairstylist for the past 20+ years) suggested that I not do anything drastic without thinking it through and being sure that's what I wanted. So, I got my hair trimmed and that was it. A month passed, & I went back yesterday for another haircut. I had decided that I didn't like how long it was getting, but that's about it . I flipped through a book, and pointed out a couple of different styles. It was still a hasty feeling decision, but I guess I was just ready for some change... She said nothing would really look different as long as I kept the front long enough to tuck behind my ears. I ended up telling her I wanted it shorter and to cut bangs. I haven't had bangs in YEARS!! Gulp! I went home feeling like I had gotten a big change in my hairstyle, but knew full well, Kevin would not likely notice. Sure enough, he said nothing. This morning I stood right in front of him and leaned across the counter looking at him while he at his oatmeal. "Notice anything?" I questioned. Nope...he didn't. "I got my haircut yesterday!". He looked at me again and then said -" turn around".... I said "well, the difference is really in the front! Oh well! He likes it and came back with a quick witty reply "It's the sign of a good haircut if it's not too noticable that it looks freshly cut!! Hopefully I'll like it when I attempt to style it tomorrow. If only Patti could be here every morning to do my hair.....ha

I think it's cute too. Maggie came home last Saturday & said she wanted bangs. I told her she'd actually have to do something with her hair then & was she postive. So out came the scissors for bangs.
That night I decided next were the clippers for the boys....somewhere in there Marty had his hair cut too.

You've had the same hairdresser for 20+ years? Wow. Do you know what that makes you......lucky!
