FIRST Tech Challenge

This has been an exciting year at school for Ryan.  A lot of High School Seniors get "Senioritis", but he hasn't had time to think about that! He joined the Robotics club in the Fall, and has so much fun building, programming, & testing the LHS robot getting it ready for the FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) competitions.  (click on the link to learn more about the program and see a winning face you'll recognize in the first picture. )

Ryan, and Kevin Jourden were the drivers,
& Alex Henry (middle) was the 'coach'

Heading to the WORLD FIRST Tech Challenge Competition in
St. Louis

The team came in 16th at the World Competition!
We were so proud of them.
The Edward Jones Dome in  St. Louis was HUGE!!

Team, Coaches and families enjoyed touring several places around St. Louis

The experience Ryan had working with the robotics program has led him to consider majoring in Mechanical Engineering at BYU.  :)
