So glad I intercepted this little First Grade "love note". Yikes! Suggestions on how to handle this anyone? I thought I was going to die laughing when I read it, but on the other hand I believe it shouldn't go without discussion. :) I don't want to embarrass her, but more importantly, I don't want her to embarrass herself either!!!I was kind of afraid to turn over her paper last night when I was looking in her backpack. Whew!....an innocent cute, creative story. That's more like a First grader should be writing! I can handle that. :)

oh my goodness gracious!!! I don't know what I would do if I found that! ha ha ha. That is SOOOO funny!!! I wouldn't be too worried about the proposal but the fact that she wants to kiss him?!?! Yikes ha ha . Good luck mom!
I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe just ask about some of her friends at school and just mention Caleb's name and see what she does:) And then maybe ask her "do you think anyone is kissing in the 1st grade?" and then warn her about the cooties and bad germies that boys have until they are 16. That should cure her;)
