SMILE :)

Smiling is something I really need to work on.!! I just don't think about it all the time, and I'm afraid I give off the impression that I am not happy, but I really am. I have even played little games with myself when I'm driving in the car...practicing smiling. I've said "Ok, I'm going to smile for 2 whole minutes without stopping!" Once when I was by myself heading to a meeting, I actually held a smile for the entire hour drive!! Sure, I got some different looks from the people in the passing cars--most of them smiled back though. That was defenitely cause for some sore cheek muscles. lol When I am around people who smile alot, I really feel good, and wish I could be more like them. Just look at that cute smiley face Amy has. How can you not smile back? :)
I read this little article this morning & thought I would take the challenge.

There are times when we have to be reminded to Smile!! Here are ways to practice Smiling:

1. Go to the bathroom mirror and look at yourself.

2. Then look at yourself and Smile. Notice your lovely smile.

3. Do it even though it sounds silly. It is very hard to stay mad if your face is smiling.

4. While you are talking on the phone go to a mirror and Smile, ANSWER THE PHONE WITH A SMILE - THE OTHER PERSON CAN HEAR YOUR SMILE.

5. Smile at your husband and your children. You need it and so do they.

6. Smile when you don't feel like smiling.

7. Put it on your Parade of Daily Adventures (to do list) A smile just a simple smile will make your heart and someone else's feel good. Renew your spirit with a smile today!

Have a set of cards with things that make you smile. When something makes you happy and you smile add it too your Happy thoughts. Then when you don't feel like smiling you can read the things that bring a smile to your face.
So...are you up for the challenge to share a few more smiles today too?
Next time you see me...I hope it's with a big smile on my face. :D

I'm impressed you smiled for a whole hour. Those would be sore cheeks. Just so ya know, I don't think you give off the wrong impression when not smiling.

that's funny, I caught myself reading your post with a serious strained look-- then I did it, I smiled :-)
