Ryan, Amy & I took a trip at the beginning of July to visit Jack, Natalie, & Jackson in Akron, Ohio. All of us travelled from there up to Ontario to visit my parents for a long weekend.
We visited Kirtland, OH
in the Newel K Whitney store where the Word
of Wisdom was given to Joseph Smith. Ryan will
be studying church history this year in seminary,
so it was great for him to be able to see Kirtland.
Kirtland temple is now owned and operated by
"Community of Christ" church. It was the first
temple to be built by the Mormons. We were
able to take a tour of the temple.
Jack has been doing his internship with
Good Year in Akron, Ohio this summer.
He and Natalie & Jackson have taken advantage
of their time their and have gone to seen lots of
different things in the area.
Playing crokinole is always a favorite game
when we go to visit Grandma & Grandpa Wilson
The big statue of Jumbo the Elephant that
the kids always like to go see was
having some repairs done to it.
Jackson had fun helping me
Mom & Dad
It was a lot of driving to tackle by myself, but well worth the effort!! It was fun to see where Natalie & Jack spent their summer, & is always a treat to get to go visit Mom & Dad too.
