In High Gear

I've been busy since my phone call with Natalie this afternoon---It doesn't look like she will make it to her October 8th due date. The Dr. checked her today and he has already dialated to 3 cm, and is 70% effaced! I had a ticket booked to fly to Utah on Oct. 5. I quickly got online and found a one way ticket for a reasonable price and booked that for EARLY Saturday morning. I am scheduled to arrive in SLC by 10:14 a.m.

When I got off the phone I jumped into high gear. I made sloppy joes, shephard's pie, 2 batches of muffins, a batch of chocolate chip cookies, started packing, finished up laundry, signed stuff for school, ordered Amy's school picture, went to Discount groceries, took Amy to dance, did some extra cuddling to comfort Amy,read bedtime story with her...probably more but I've got to go to bed...lots more to do tomorrow.

I hope Natalie is able to hold out until I get there. If not, well what will be, will be!

I'm excited to meet our new grandson.
