Wonderful Wal*Mart

Yesterday I finally tackled a job I have been putting off & dreading! I headed to Wal*Mart with a huge pile of "returns". I am so glad that it was a "friendly Wal*Mart greeter" who met me and had to put those lovely yellow stickers on EVERY item in my cart. I was also very relieved that the person at the returns counter wasn't too grumpy and annoyed with me!! Bet ya can't beat this one!

I was rather embarrassed to be unloading such a pile onto the counter, but I had receipts in hand or taped to the item for most of it. Thank goodness Walmart has an easy returns policy--unlike Target!

Here's my list:
10 piece set of bakeware

9 packs of pink napkins

5 picture frames

3 lampshades

2 ankle support bandages

1 package of wedding favor boxes

1 roll of floral tape

1 rubbermaid silverware holder

1 turquoise jacket

...And a Partridge in a pear tree!!

Just editing this post so that no one is offended if they happen to read that a few wedding gifts were returned...Jordan & Shawn will be repurchasing the gifts in Utah---it just made travelling easier. :)

I totally agree that WalMart is the best for returning stuff, with or without a receipt, even if it is opened already.

I am amazed at your courage! It's usually painful just taking one thing back! Did you have a receipt for the partridge in a pear tree?!?!?!?

I can't believe you returned the partridge! If you get another one, please save it for me. I've longed for a partridge.

ha ha ha Jack you are silly!

Wow, that is a lot of returning to do mommy! Thanks for all your help!

I like the new "occasional" background!

I hope no one that gave us some of that stuff reads your blog...

I agree with Jordan...very occasional background! Did Natalie do that for you?

Aren't those yellow stickers ANNOYING! and time consuming!

but worth it since they are so good about taking stuff back...even without the receipt sometimes!
