This year we got together at our friends, the Hoffers, house for hotdogs and snacky food before we went trick-or-treating. The group got to be quite a bit larger than Maura had originally planned, but it turned out fine. It was raining off and on all day, but we got lucky that it had stopped by the time we went trick-or-treating.
That's one talented cow ;)

The group... although we had fun, we decided we prefer going in a much smaller group or by ourselves. It just gets kind of crazy having this many kids trying to go up to one door at the same time. It's funner to be able to talk to our neighbors and have them recognize who we are.

I think she ended up with a managable amount of candy :)

We hope you had a Happy Halloween too!

I love Amy's costume.
She was so excited to be a Monarch butterfly. I was quite happy that she didn't want to be Hannah Montanna or someone like that!! :)
cute!
man, she didn't get much candy at all. I remember coming home with a pillow case full when I was her age... Candy is so expensive these days and money is tight so I'm not surprised she didn't get as much candy as I used to.
I was kind of surprised by how "little" she got too. She was happy though, & it will mean less junk in her tummy :) Remember how you made yourself sick eating too much candy one year, Jordan?
