SO MUCH FUN WITH FAMILY...

Natalie, Jackson & Clayton just came to visit us for two weeks while Jack was away on a job interview and then in the UK with his MBA group from BYU.  It was SO FUN having them here.  This was the first any family here except me had met Clayton.
We did some fun things together, but tried not to keep too busy so that the boys could get their naps.
Just look at these very cute grandsons  :)
Beautiful weather for our picnic at Callaway Gardens.
Amy's friend, Lina, had a birthday party at the American Girl
store in Atlanta.  Since Natalie loved her American Girl dolls when
she was younger, I knew she'd enjoy joining us. She brought
along her real 'doll'.
We spent Saturday at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History.
We even bought a membership so we can go
back there at Christmas time when all of
our family is together.

 What a sweet baby!
The second grade at Amy's school was having a
"Book Walk".  Each child dressed up like a character
from a book they had read.  Amy read the book
"Angelina Ballerina On Stage".  She put together
her costume complete with pointe shoes (thanks Jordan)
Angelina is a mouse who loves to dance-
quite fitting for Amy I'd say  :)

Ryan and Jackson playing in our yard
Playing with Grandpa at the park
Of course I was LOVING this!   :)
We had potluck dinner after church Sunday.
The weather was so beautiful we ate outside.
Jackson thought the Monkey grass look like
a soft place to lay down.  It kind of looks like
an Anne Geddes -style picture, eh?
Bently and Bonnie came down to visit 3 or 4 times
while Natalie was here.  It was great being together.
Bently had fun playing with Jackson

Grandpa had a great helper making
biscuits Saturday morning
Lunch at Bonzai.  It's always fun to watch
the chef cook the meal right in front of us.
Jackson was pretty fascinated, and tried imitating
the fancy movements with his fork and knife.
It was so cute to watch Jackson and Clayton together
I can tell they are going to be best friends.  :)
Two weeks went by quickly.  I hated thinking about them leaving. Our trip to the airport Tuesday was quite an adventure however.  Lets just say we didn't have time for tears!!!  It was wonderful having them here, and we hope we don't have to wait too many months before we can be together again.  We're praying these job interviews Jack has been having will bring some nice offers.  Of course we wouldn't complain if they happened to be somewhere within driving distance.  ;)
