Ryan tried out for the LaGrange High JV soccer team and made it!! Yeah...Go Ryan! :) As an 8th grader, this year will mostly be one of putting in his dues, practicing with the team and increasing his skill level to that of those he plays with in High School. All of the other boys in 8th grade who tried out and made the team, played on the Titans travelling team. Ryan chose not to play for the Titans because he didn't want to play on Sunday. The coach has put Ryan in to play some in both games so far. His position in the past has been center mid-fielder, & this coach has put him in as a striker, so he feels a little out of place, & needs to learn & get comfortable with that position. It sure is exciting to watch the games. Soccer is such a great sport! Go Grangers!!Wednesday, February 20, 2008
