Bently met Bonnie when he applied to work at Goody's in November 2007. She was/is the store manager, & obviously knew a good thing when she saw it---so she hired him. They began dating out of town in February, so no one in LaGrange would know. ;) They soon realized that they really liked each other, & knew the relationship couldn't flourish as long as they both worked at Goody's. In April Bently decided to change jobs so they could date openly & become known as "boyfriend & girlfriend" :)
On New Year's Eve 2008 Bently knelt on one knee in a heart shaped of rose petals, and proposed to Bonnie Anderson. (such a romantic guy) Of course she glady accepted (or I wouldn't be writing about this). I think she sort of suspected it might be coming when she didn't find what she had hoped "Santa" would put in her sotcking. ;)
They are planning to be married on September 11...and we are thrilled!
Bonnie is a very sweet girl with a good head on her shoulder's, & a tender heart. She is pleasant to be around because she is ALWAYS smiling and happy & has a positive attitude about life. We think she's wonderful, & I know Bently agrees. :)

Bently & Bonnie are very happy together, & we enjoy spending time with them.
I think we'll make it 3 summers in a row for a West family wedding!!

So very happy for all of you! It'll be a little different for you since your SON is getting married and not a daughter - maybe you'll be able to sit back and relax more!!!
congrats to Bentley! At least you have experience in the wedding department and can give a few ponters. And like MK said, you will not have to travel this time, just be a hostess to all of your family!
