Take The Stairs!

I use SWAGBUCKS  as my search engine.  You earn free virtual $$ just doing your normal searches and activity, then you can spend the SWAGBUCKS on REAL prizes like Amazon gift cards.  :)  Today they had this fun post on their blog about exercise.

There's really no arguing that we could all benefit from more exercise, and the little choices we make (parking further away so we can walk, snacking on veggies and fruits) can have a big impact. It's difficult to make those changes though - why take the stairs when there's an escalator nearby? I think a group of engineers have figured it out:

 The Dreaded Stairs

So, the challenge...get more exercise.  Yup- why pay for a gym membership if I don't use it regularly?  Once I'm there I enjoy exercising.  It's just making myself get in that routine of going several days a week.  If I get dressed in my shorts and sweats and then head to the gym right after I drop Amy off at school, I'm fine.  I really struggle when I go  home after taking her.  I always have so many other things to do, that I can talk myself out of leaving the house again, or at least leaving to go exercise.

I made it to the gym today...yay me!  :)

yay Chris!! One way to look at going later in the morning is accomplish one task, go to the gym(like my class..ha!) and then when you get home you can cross off 2 items off your list for the day! At least that is how I try to look at it....although I dont' think reading blogs and FB count as items on my to-do list...:)
