Wow, it's hard to believe that Bently turned 26 today! Look at that blaze! Wasn't it just about 10 years ago that I was 26? ;) Where have the years gone?
Although Bently lives at home with us, we don't see a whole lot of him.
It was nice to have his birthday dinner together today. Of course he wanted
"THE Birthday cake"--- A recipie I got from my friend Carole Johnson years ago. I wonder if I ever told her that it has become our family's favorite birthday cake. Chocolate Chip Cake. Yumm. It's so good it doesn't need icing. Did I say YUMM!!?
Chocolate Chip Cake
1 box yellow cake mix
1 box chocolate pudding
1 cup sugar (optional)
¾ cup oil
4 eggs
1 cup water
8 oz. sour cream
1 pkg. milk chocolate chips (12 or 16 oz)
In a large bowl, mix cake mix & pudding until lumps are gone. Add everything else & put into greased & floured bundt pan. Bake at 350* for 55-60 min. Cool in pan for 10 min. Turn out on cooling rack to cool completely.

Happy Birthday again! We enjoyed having THE birthday cake in your behalf, Bently. There's even a piece left...but probably not for long.
mmm that cake is THE best!!! Mom... when I come home next month, can we celebrate my birthday??? I want THE cake!
